Local resident and owner Dale Ream has been in the security industry for over 43 years. After 13 years working as an installation manager for Westec Security, Dale saw room for improvement in the overall customer experience.
Leader Security Systems was founded shortly thereafter.

Since 2020, most security companies now rely on their at-home Monitoring Specialists to provide critical monitoring services for their customers. Our Specialists continue to only monitor from secure facilities due to the high-level risks that would be introduced if operators worked from home. An at-home monitoring model not only risks the quality of customer service, but also breach of data security and the possibility of losing power/internet connection. At Leader, your account information will not be accessible by non-authorized personnel and our monitoring facilities have robust power and telecommunication redundancy systems in place to keep you worry-free.
Our Contracts vs. Others
We are so confident in our systems and services that our monitoring contracts are only for 1-year vs. the typical 3 to 5-year contracts that the competition requires of their customers. Other companies will lock you in, raise your rates, and then sell your account to another company. This raises the question - Do you actually know who your alarm company is?
